Rolling along...

We got a bike trailer! Brendan and I are putting the hitches on our bikes so we can both pull it when needed. I will be using it for food, books, etc and he will be using it for guitars, amps and a double bass. So exciting!
On another note, I went out to water the garden this morning and I was looking a littler closer at my herbs and I think that what I thought was flat leaf parsley, is actually celery. Oooops. I need a professional to weigh in on the subject - maybe I should post some pictures. (I've been trying to post pictures, but I can't do it at the library, so I need to remember to bring my camera the next time I'm by my mom's).
And, on yet another note - did I tell you that we went to the Ladner Village Market last Sunday? I was soooooo disappointed. I wanted it to be a true farmer's market - you know, where you buy your produce and meet the local farmers, but it was so far from that and it made me sad. There were really only 2 truly local farmers there and it was horribly expensive. The funny thing is that one of the farms is just down the road from me and it is about half the cost to buy from their driveway than at the market. I would say the vast majority of the market was vendors from farther away and there were a lot of "things" to buy as opposed to produce. It just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Oh well, all the more reason to pour my time in to my own garden, right?
