Our first summer activity as a family.

So, in no particular order, these are some pictures from our first family outing this summer. We trekked out to Langley for the RCMP Musical Ride. Two of us were happy to be there and two of us were thankful that one of us brought his own entertainment. Did I mention that it was hot? We sat for a couple of hours in 100 degree weather and no one killed anyone - a success!
Before we made it to the Thunderbird Equestrian Centre we took in a double feature at the Clova. It has been days now of just finding things to do that take us inside an airconditioned building. The upside is that I have bought the school supplies and most of the back to school clothes. We've put many clicks on the car just because it's got great air conditioning!
Tonight the boys are leaving for a couple of days and I can't wait! My brother is in town so we are going to the driving range later and then probably out for a late dinner. I soooooooo need a break, so I will have to make the most of my couple of days and take some time to dream about a holiday.

That looks like a neat event. Did you end up enjoying, even with the heat?

We had a great time - even with the heat! The RCMP Musical Ride is something we should all see at least once. How's your summer going?
