How is it that every single morning (with children) is exactly the same? In our house, it is safe to say we have been doing the same routine for about 9 years - maybe 8, but it's been a long time nonetheless. I figure somewhere in the neighbourhood of 1037 morning routines have been executed by Pearson children. Why is it then, that the Pearson children still do it so badly? We are a family of acheivers (each in our own way, of course) and this is one area that seems impossible to conquer. Did you know it only takes about 15 repetitions of an action to train a dog? As a matter of fact, our own dog has her morning routine down cold. Up at 7:30, out to pee and poop, two circles around the tree, back inside for a treat and then she sits and waits for me to pour her food.
Maybe the lesson here is that I should be a dog trainer and not a mother.
