The kids and I took a short trip to
Mountain Equipment today to look at some backpacks for our trip. It's probably the single most important thing we will buy and they have to be comfortable and fit well. I do not want to hear from two boys that they are not wearing their packs anymore when we're somewhere around Winnipeg. We narrowed it down a bit and we're going to bring a couple home and try them out with the appropriate amount of packed weight in them, before we make our final decision. These are the ones we are looking at...
It amazed me that the adult packs fit the boys with the short frame. Maybe we can score these for Christmas gifts!
