It's New Year's Eve and I'm getting ready for a big night. For the first time ever, I am driving my baby to a party and picking him up at 12:30am! He is 12 years old, in grade 7 and going to a party. Am I nuts?
I will be stopping by a party with Dylan in tow, and then it's home for a Wii lesson and then just waiting.... waiting for it to be 12:30am. He has been getting ready for a hour already, there have been about 50 emails between his friends and he hasn't stopped talking for an hour or so.
When did I become the mom who sits at home while her kid is out having fun?
