Summer's in full swing!

The boys and I put up the tent today and that officially makes it summer at the Pearson house. I have been working non-stop for the past couple of weeks and this afternoon I finished up early and I'm taking the day off tomorrow. This afternoon the kids went swimming, I read my first summer novel, we fired up the bbq and ate dinner on the trampoline. The boys will sleep in the tent tonight and tomorrow we're heading to the outdoor pool at Third Beach with some friends. The weather is perfect, the bugs are at a minimum right now and the baby barn swallows are learning to fly from their nest on the front of the house - it is seriously, a perfect summer day.

We had our big VBS camp at church last week and it was awesome! There were just over 300 kids for the week and our family night, brought about 500 out to the church. It was so much fun - I wish every week was like that!

I will bring the camera along to the beach/pool tomorrow and catch some summer fun in pictures. I took so many pictures while we were away, I've kind of put the camera down for the past little while.

Well, I'm off to do something else "summer like" before it's bed time for the boys.

Good night everyone!
